The Continental x8 1-8x24 SFP LPVO scope from Vector Optics for operations at various distances thanks to its variable magnification in the 1-8x range and a true magnification factor of 8x. This design will work especially well for more dynamic shooting, where the user exhibits more movement. The intermediate magnification allows you to adjust the degree of magnification in relation to the distance found.
The 24mm diameter lens uses ED lenses with FMC coating. This combination features a high visible light transmission rate of 93%. This, in turn, translates into the ability to operate in lower light conditions, such as sunset.
The manufacturer has equipped the scope with an etched-in-glass G4 sighting reticle embedded in the background (SFP). It is characterized by derived lines that, depending on the magnification, correspond to a given MOA value. This allows you to adjust the sight accordingly when needed. The locking function of the adjustment turrets, which are on the side and top of the body, prevents accidental change of settings.
The sight can be adjusted within a range of about 140 MOA with a single click value of 1/2 MOA. In addition, the eyepiece can be adjusted at diopter angles from -3 to +2. The aluminum barrel has a diameter of 30 mm, so that a wide range of scope mounts available on the market can be used for it. The sealed body made of 6061 T-6 aluminum meets the IP67 waterproofing class standard.
The scope's design has been filled with nitrogen gas, making its lenses resistant to internal evaporation. In addition, the device is able to withstand shocks of up to 750 G.
