The Rotatable Optic Mount consists of a swiveling plate that attaches to a Picatinny rail. It allows for the use of a compact pistol red dot sight that can swivel left or right up to 120° as an alternative to the main scope. Additionally, such a red dot sight can be aligned with the main sight if mounted on a riser. The low-profile design keeps the red dot sight very close to the center of the firearm.
The Picatinny rail mounting element is made of steel, and the plate itself is made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. The plate, featuring multiple pre-drilled holes, is compatible with over 30 sights from the Aimpoint Micro, C-More, Deltapoint Pro, Docter/Noblex, RMR, and Shield standards. The manufacturer has included a wide range of Torx screws to allow for precise adjustment of individual red dot sights to the plate. After setting the desired windage for the red dot sight on the plate, secure it by tightening the screws.
