Magpul - Folding Front Sight Hooded MBUS Pro - QPQ Steel - Black - MAG1518-BLK

The MBUS Pro folding front sight with a rounded semi-rimmed shroud from Magpul. It is made of QPQ nitrided steel, which gives it a distinctive coating and increases its resistance to oxidation and corrosion. It opens by extending it to a standing position, where it is locked with a latch to prevent accidental folding.

Height adjustment is done with a large textured knob for easy operation. The user has a system to rotate the front sight between a narrow and precise 1 mm, and a wider one with a standard thickness of 1.5 mm. The accessory attaches to a Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 mounting rail using a clamp whose screw can be operated with an allen wrench or a flathead screwdriver.
