The UCS buttstock from Magpul is compatible with a wide range of weapons, thanks to its mounting on the M1913 Picatinny rail. It has been made of polymer with high rigidity, which translates into the ability to support the arm stably. The bead has been covered with cellular-textured rubber, which creates a space in which the flexibility of the material can work while dampening loads.

The acronym for the UCS Universal Carbine Stock refers to its universal application within the framework of the assembly used. In addition, structurally, the buttstock has an undercut that allows access to the pistol grip when it is folded regardless of the side. Besides, the user can adjust many parameters of the equipment himself with little effort.

First of all, in the buttstock it is possible to adjust the length of the extension in six positions over a length of 76.2 mm. Mounting on a Picatinny rail gives six different seating heights, with a one-slot stroke in the basic version and a half-slot stroke if the crossbar plate is inverted by 180°. The hinge can be flipped to the other side, so you can decide for yourself whether to fold to the right or left side.

Along the top edge of the equipment, notches have been routed for tool-free mounting of the included cheekpieces with 1/2" (12.7 mm) or 3/4" (19 mm) rise. A hole with a QD mounting point was applied to the rear, this allows the tactical suspension to be plugged into the weapon. Simply remove the screw and screw it in on the other side which unlocks access to the point.
