The AEMS EVO red dot sight from Holosun features the MRS system, which allows you to choose between a dot, a circle, or a combination of both. Additionally, the sight is equipped with a solar cell, which enables two functions: the first is a backup power source, and the second is automatic brightness adjustment of the reticle.

The device offers 12 brightness levels, including 4 that are compatible with night vision. The buttons for adjusting the brightness are located on the side of the housing. Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery, and to conserve energy, the red dot sight features a “Shake Awake” function that automatically turns off the reticle after a set period of inactivity and reactivates it when motion is detected.

The red dot sight is equipped with multi-layer coatings that improve light transmission and minimize reflections. The housing is made of anodized 7075-T6 aluminum. The sight attaches to the firearm via a standard Picatinny rail with a riser, allowing for the installation of backup mechanical sights at the bottom of the sight window.

The components inside the red dot sight housing are shock-resistant up to 1,000 G and meet the IPX8 waterproof standard. This makes it suitable for use in high-humidity conditions as well as in varying temperatures. Due to its compact size and Picatinny mount, the red dot sight can be used in conjunction with red dot sight magnifiers.
