Helikon - Tactical Pants UTP - PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop - Rhodesian Camo - SP-UTL-SP-1K

The iconic model of UTP Urban Tactical Pants® from Helikon's Urban series. What sets it apart from the base PolyCotton RipStop version of the UTP is the use of added elastane giving it Stretch characteristics. The durable mesh-like weave is able to stretch and thus better fit the body thanks to the elastic fibers.

The manufacturer has applied a total of 12 pockets to the surface of the pants. They consist of two classic front ones, four thigh ones, four back ones and two integrated into the waist circumference on the inside of the pants. The front ones have edges reinforced with a hem, the thigh ones have two zippered and two Velcro, the back ones are divided into two narrow and two wide, the final two on the inner waist will work well for smaller accessories.

The anatomical, form-fitting cut does not restrict freedom of movement, which is further aided by the addition of elastane in the fabric. If necessary, the user can pad the space on the knees with soft protectors, thanks to dedicated pockets for them. The design of the pants allows carrying a total of several AK/AR magazines in the main thigh pockets, and even pistol magazines in those on the inner perimeter of the waistband.

Tactical trousers in the legendary Rhodesian camouflage pattern, which gained fame during the Rhodesian War of 1964-1979. It was used by Rhodesian soldiers and is particularly associated with elite units such as the Selous Scouts, the Rhodesian SAS, the Rhodesian Light Infantry (RLI), and the Rhodesian African Rifles (RAR).

It originates from the brushstroke camouflage used on British Denison Smock parachute jackets. It was subsequently adapted to match the colors of the local bush and the conditions prevailing in the Zambezi River region and in present-day Zimbabwe. It is a cult symbol of effectiveness in combating communist guerrillas.
