The Vector Optics Forester JR 1-4x24 riflescope is a compact model with variable magnification. The monotube design is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and fits into a standard 30mm tube. The VFD-3 reticle is located in the background, so the reticle scale remains constant despite changing magnification.
Bolt-on turrets with a mottled surface offer tool-free zero resetting. The knobs can be adjusted in 1/2 MOA increments, with a range of +/-50 MOA both vertically and horizontally. With each twist, a click can be heard and felt, allowing you to comfortably adjust the scope without taking your eyes off the target. The quick-focus eyepiece is equipped with a +/-2 diopter adjustment.
The optics are multi-coated (FMC), and the parallax is fixed at 50 yards. The Forester JR features a large field of view - from 22.3 meters to 7.2 meters at 100 meters. The eye relief ranges from 110 to 90 mm. The body is resistant to shock and rain or accidental splashing (IPX4). Nitrogen filling protects the lenses from fogging.
The scope comes with two-piece Vector Optics SCTM-22 mounting rings with a diameter of 30 mm and a medium profile (25.4 mm). Made of 6061-T6 aluminum, the rings are compatible with Picatinny/Weaver rails and attach with Torx screws - four for each ring. When the scope is not in use, it's a good idea to store it in a protective neoprene scope pouch.
