The plate is made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, and its outer surface is coated with a matte protective finish. This protects the metal from the elements and prevents light reflections. A secure fit with the X-MOD interface prevents the collimator from shifting due to recoil.

This solution allows for the stable mounting of red dot sights compatible with the VOD footprint on Picatinny rails or side mounts. The VAS modular mounting system ensures repeatable installation and maintains the sight’s optical axis.
