The Swampfox Kentucky Long 2-12x44 is a variable-power riflescope with a magnification range of 2-12x. Thanks to its 2-12x magnification range and the use of a first-focal-plane reticle, the scope offers versatility at both short and long ranges.

The RECCE MIL FFP reticle means that the reticle scale changes proportionally with magnification, allowing for accurate distance readings, bullet trajectory corrections, and windage adjustments at any zoom setting. The reticle features 0.5 MIL graduations and an extensive system of reference points at the bottom. This design allows for aiming “from the reticle” without having to adjust the turrets.

The optical system features high light transmission and image clarity even at the edges, and the lenses are coated with hydrophobic FMC coatings that protect against fogging and scratches. The scope is equipped with turrets featuring a “push-pull” lock and a Zero Stop function, allowing for a quick return to the original settings. The adjustment increment is 1/10 MIL per click, with a total range of movement of +/- 60 MOA vertically and horizontally.

The side parallax turret allows for error correction starting at a distance of 9 meters. For the shooter’s convenience, the set includes two low- and high-profile magnification adjustment levers. The illumination system offers 11 brightness levels, making it easier to take shots in low-light conditions.

The CR2032 battery compartment is located on the side of the housing, allowing for battery replacement without having to disassemble the scope or remove the covers. The aircraft-grade aluminum tube meets the IPX7 waterproof rating and provides shock resistance up to 1000 G. The kit includes lens covers that allow for safe transport of the rifle with the scope in a bag to the shooting range, a cleaning cloth, and a battery.
