Silva Ranger 4-6400 is a map compass with a rotating dial calibrated in the 6400-mile system used by NATO. It allows fast and precise azimuth determination. Fluorescent markings allow reading in limited light conditions. The body is made of moisture- and cold-resistant polymer, which increases the compass' durability and reliability in the field.

The compass is equipped with 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 map scales, making it easy to read distances directly from a map, and a built-in magnifying lens allows precise reading of details on a map. The dial's rubberized grip increases grip security even with wet hands. A lanyard makes it easy to carry either around the neck or with a tactical backpack or other pieces of equipment.
