Silva - Map Compass Expedition 4-360 - 35692-8011
Silva Expedition 4 is a compass for field navigation using topographic maps and GPS systems. The design, based on a transparent base plate, allows accurate direction transfer and distance measurement directly on the map. The model uses a liquid-filled capsule with precision bearings to ensure stable needle operation. A rotating capsule with an internal magnetic declination scale allows for permanent adjustment of directional correction.
An integrated magnifier enables accurate analysis of cartographic details. Luminescent markings allow the compass to be used in limited light. Rubber feet stabilize the compass while working on the map, and a detachable lanyard protects it from getting lost and makes it easy to carry in a hiking backpack, for example.
Attention: The lanyard for the compass is included in the back of the package.
