Silva - Map Compass Expedition - 37448
The Silva Expedition 37448 compass features a rotating dial with a rubber casing that provides a secure grip even in harsh conditions or with tactical gloves. Rubber feet stabilize the compass on the map. Photoluminescent markings allow orientation at night, and a magnifying lens supports precise map work.
The compass is equipped with a detachable distance lanyard with 1:25 and 1:50 graduations allowing the lanyard to be used as a ruler. The built-in clinometer allows you to evaluate the angle of the terrain, and the slope chart supports the assessment of avalanche risk and terrain difficulty.
A built-in magnetic declination corrector allows constant or local adjustment of geographic direction. Map scales in mm, inches, and GPS 1:25,000, 1:40,000 and 1:50,000 allow for versatile use in a variety of topographic maps.
Attention: The lanyard for the compass is included in the back of the package.
