Nite Ize - CamJam® XT™ Large Aluminum Rope Tightener - Black - NCJLA-01-R3

This aluminum rope tightener from Nite Ize is a larger version of the popular CamJam XT model, designed for ropes with a larger diameter and heavier loads. Unlike the standard CamJam XT, which fits ropes from 2 to 5 mm, the Large model accommodates ropes with diameters from 3 to 9 mm. The working load limit is 500 lb / 227 kg.

The buckle is made of cast aluminum, a material that provides high strength with minimal weight. A stainless steel gate carabiner (wire type) is located at one end of the clamp, and a rotating cam mechanism is at the other. The carabiner attaches to any anchor point-such as a hook, D-ring, or loop-and the rope is pulled through the cam mechanism and tightened to the desired tension.

The cam locks automatically under load and remains locked until intentionally released by rotating the lever. The buckle allows for two attachment configurations: the Fixed End system and the Loop system. This product is not intended for climbing or applications where disengagement could result in personal injury or property damage.
