The CamJam® Cord Tightener is a compact cord tensioner from Nite Ize that eliminates the need to tie knots when securing a load. The product combines a carabiner with a rotating cam mechanism, allowing for quick tightening, releasing, and readjusting the cord tension without detaching it.

The housing is made of durable plastic, and the carabiner gate is made of stainless steel (wire type). The tightener fits cords with a diameter of 2–5 mm. Operation involves two simple steps: pulling the rope through the cam mechanism and tightening it. The cam locks automatically under load. To release the tension, rotate the cam and lift the rope.

This product is not intended for climbing or applications where disengagement could result in personal injury or property damage. CamJam is available in a plastic-cased version (NCJ-01-R3) and a heavier cast aluminum version (CamJam XT), designed for securing heavier loads.
