The Duraflex® Cop-Lok® buckle with multi-point security is the core of the Mil-Tec LC2 belt, reducing the risk of accidental undoing while carrying equipment. The body is based on a high-stiffness webbing that holds the belt's axis and does not "pump" under the load of the holster or pouches. The design maintains a low profile under a jacket or vest and does not hook on the equipment.

The stiffened webbing maintains geometry when working on the march, kneel and in the vehicle, which improves the repeatability of grip and retrieval. The edges are smoothly finished to reduce point pressure and friction in the waist belt. The webbing routing is even around the perimeter to facilitate symmetrical placement of the modules.

Adjustment is done by interlacing the webbing in the buckle, so you can quickly adjust the fit without tools and maintain tension after tightening. The belt works with equipment carried at the hips; appropriate load carriers can be selected for the carrier configuration, maintaining the low profile of the kit.

The low profile of the buckle reduces snagging on harnesses and seatbelts, and the flat geometry makes it easy to work in a seated position. A stable webbing track helps keep accessories close to the body, which improves control during dynamic transitions between positions and reduces swinging of accessories.
