Frontend designed for AR15 platform carbines equipped with a floating barrel. Developed with M-LOK mounting system, top Picatinny rail and anti-tilt protection. Slim and lightweight, it is more comfortable to grip than a standard round handguard.
The front is fully made of aluminum, milled and protected with IR anti-reflective coating. This makes it characterized by lightness, solidity and scratch resistance. The octagonal cross-section and milled surface provide a secure yet comfortable grip.
The handguard has special teeth on the back overlapping the upper on the sides, which is a stable protection against vertically skewed installation of the handguard, and its rotation under intensive use.
The upper features a Picatinny rail with beveled edges, making it easier to mount accessories, especially red dot sights, and reducing the risk of snagging. Thanks to the design of the handguard, this rail forms one continuity with the Picatinny mount on a standard AR15 upper.
The handguard has 7 M-LOK mounting strings. They allow you to arrange the mounting of accessories in any way you like. The handguard itself is mounted very simply, using a self-locking barrel nut and four pressure screws. No gunsmithing intervention or specialized tools are required. The EXD Free Float handguard is a solid way to increase the ergonomics of your carbine without much difficulty.
