The Moab 2 model from Merrell is a low tactical boot designed for heavy use in the field, duty and daily patrol. The model combines durability, stability and comfort inspired by the classic Moab series. It provides cushioning for long wear. Additional rubber reinforcement of the nose protects the toes from injury, and TPU reinforcements protect the heel. Horizontal reinforcements contribute to durability and safety.

The upper is made from a combination of Ripstop nylon, PU-coated leather and mesh for added durability. It features a low polymer collar to stabilize the ankle. A stiff, adherent tongue with inserts prevents dirt from entering. The shoe features the M-Select™ DRY system, which blocks water from the outside while allowing moisture to escape from the interior.

With a removable foam insole with Kinetic Fit™ BASE technology and a cushioned Merrell® Air Cushion EVA foam midsole, the shoe provides comfort even when worn for hours on end. A lacing system supported by five pairs of grommets stabilizes the foot. The aggressive five-millimeter Vibram® TC5+ tread guarantees traction on a variety of surfaces, making the shoe a suitable choice for both urban and outdoor activities.

The boots have insulation with an electrical hazard (EH) designation, which is a source of protection against electric shock. They contain no metal parts, making them undetectable by metal detectors. To preserve their longer life, it's worth impregnating and treating them with dedicated products.
