Magpul - Zhukov-U Hand Guard for AK-47/AK-74 - M-LOK - Black - MAG680-BLK

Handguard for AK family carbines with shortened Zhukov-U® barrel equipped with M-LOK® system mounting holes. The Zhukov-U version is characterized by a shorter length compared to the classic Zhukov version. As a result, it can be used with the latest carbines of the AK family, for example, AK-102, AK-104 or AK-105. The henadguard was made of an aluminum frame, over which a polymer shell with a modern design was applied.

The heat-resistant polymer serves as a grip, while the aluminum skeleton serves as a heat sink. The grooves on both sides of the grip limit the accidental extension of the hand beyond the handguard, which translates into higher safety when handling the carbine. The ribbing is responsible for increasing the grip area, which will positively affect gloved handling.

M-LOK® holes on the sides and bottom allow mounting a front grip and tactical lighting. Perforation on the top improves ventilation of the gas tube. The handguard is also compatible with the UltiMAK Optics Mount allowing to move the sight to the front.

NOTE: The handguard is incompatible with Yugoslavian-made carbines, RPK-style carbines and copies with factory suspension ears. The barrel of the carbine should be longer than 11.5" and between 16.75-18.25 mm thick. To install the handguard it is necessary to remove the factory stop plate and suspension eye if present.
