ELG Buttstock for the Marlin 1895/1894/336 rifle, but mounting on other 1895 platform weapons should be just as trouble-free. The polymer used maintains a high degree of rigidity, while being much lighter than the standard wood or metal used for the buttstock. A special feature of the ELG buttstock is a storage compartment with a pocket for ammunition or equipment. In addition, the user has M-LOK® slots on both sides of the part.

There is a blinded QD port on the rear of the buttstock. Once it is unlocked, the buttstock can be hooked up to a suspension to the weapon. The ELG buttstock replicates the shape of the factory version, while streamlining it by applying fine texturing throughout the surface of the buttstock. The user accesses the pocket by pressing the contoured button that acts as a locking mechanism.

The pockets in the storage compartment are attached with two allen screws. The user has a total of three pockets - for .45-70 Govt ammunition, 30-30 Win or an open compartment for any equipment. On the flap covering the storage compartment there is a mounting point for the cheek buffer, its height can be adjusted by screws with washers. The recoil-reducing foot after firing has been made of rubber, which can be added distance with the included parts.

The ELG buttstock from Magpul will allow the user toincrease the functionality of the Marlin 1895 platform rifle, which will primarily allow the user to carry more ammunition and dampen recoil after firing and rest on the buttstock, as well as the tank. Together with the ELG firearms bed, the MAG1381 will make a great upgrade for the rifle.
