The Black Eye R40 angle flashlight generates a light output of up to 4000 lumens. This translates to a beam range of up to 325 meters at a maximum luminous intensity of 26,475 candelas. Thanks to its unique angled design, the device is extremely versatile, as it can serve both as a classic handheld flashlight and as an efficient headlamp when mounted on a headband.

The QUICK-SET Programming control system allows you to adjust operating modes without having to switch functions. The user has two main operating programs at their disposal. The first offers six brightness levels, including the intense Boost mode, High and Medium modes, and the energy-saving Low I and Low II settings. Additionally, this program includes the Strobe and Beacon signaling functions, which allow you to mark your position or disorient an opponent.

The second mode is the Advanced Dimming System, providing fully smooth brightness adjustment. A special Survival mode is provided for those operating in emergency situations. It enables continuous operation for over 29 days, providing minimal but sufficient lighting for survival. The function is activated by holding down the button while the device is off.

Adaptive Cooling technology automatically regulates the LED’s temperature, preventing it from overheating. The Last Setting Memory function saves the last mode used, ensuring the flashlight is always ready to operate at your preferred setting. The durable, aircraft-grade aluminum housing is resistant to mechanical damage, withstands drops from a height of 1.5 meters, and meets the IPX8 waterproof rating, allowing it to operate in heavy rain.

Power is supplied by a 21700 Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which charges directly via the built-in USB-C port. A clear charge level indicator provides real-time monitoring of battery status. The device’s functionality is complemented by a magnet in the base, allowing for stable attachment to steel surfaces, and a metal clip that makes it easy to carry the flashlight on your gear or in the pocket of tactical pants.
