The highly durable L5 Advanced Warfighter Magazine (AWM®) second-generation magazine from Lancer. It is capable of holding 30 rounds in 5.56x45mm/.223 Rem caliber. The magazine is compatible with a wide range of AR15 family carbines. The innovative hybrid design combines hardened steel jaws with a molded and polymer body.

The stamped magazine body features a large textured surface to improve grip. In addition, the concave and convex texturing can be instinctively felt during handling. The shape of the magazine is similar to standard American metal designs that fit most magazine holds.

The most important improvements over the first generation are an improvement in the geometry of the cartridge feeding jaws, as well as optimization of the magazine foot locking mechanism.
