Ka-Bar - Fixed Blade Knife Apex 3,9″ - Clip Point - D2 - Green - 5500

The Apex knife from Ka-Bar combines the features of classic finka knives with a modern twist. It features a Clip Point profile blade made of D2 carbon steel with a black coating, which works well for more demanding jobs. The way the blade is guided allows for better application when chiseling in wood, for example.

The handle, with its unique greenish color, is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon. In addition, the profile of the handle has been routed with a slimmer front and back, while the center is clearly thickened with a rectangular pattern for better grip. Such a series of solutions creates a large contact surface with the hand, making it virtually impossible to accidentally slip the knife in difficult conditions.

In the foot of the handle is applied a hole for pulling a paracord cord. Included with the knife, the user receives a dedicated scabbard with a drainage hole for carrying it. The scabbard is mounted with two polymer straps, functioning as snap buckles. The scabbard is double-sided, which means that if the user so desires, he or she can reposition the attachment as needed.

The tapered shape of the knife will work best when working in confined or narrow spaces, where precise movements are needed. The blade, despite the use of carbon steel, will be adequately durable thanks to the application of a black coating with anti-corrosion properties. Finally, if the knife gets dirty, its cleaning will be extremely easy due to the materials used.
