The Holosun 507COMP is an open-dot red dot sight designed for sport shooting and dynamic disciplines. This model features an enlarged sight window, which significantly facilitates quick target acquisition and tracking of the reticle in motion. The sight is designed for direct mounting on Optic Ready pistols using the popular RMR footprint standard.

Wide field of view and imperceptible parallax

The optical system of this model is based on an enlarged 28 x 22 mm reticle window, which guarantees a wide field of view. The lens is coated with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings that ensure optimal light transmission and a clear image. The collimator features minimized parallax and an unlimited eye relief, allowing for intuitive binocular aiming regardless of the angle at which the target is viewed.

Long battery life and reliable power source

The device uses a power system based on a single CR1632 lithium battery, located in an easily accessible side compartment. At a backlight intensity of 6, the collimator is capable of operating continuously for up to 50,000 hours in dot-only display mode. Additionally, the built-in Shake Awake system automatically turns off the LED when inactivity is detected and immediately restores the backlight at the slightest movement, retaining the last selected settings.

CRS system with precise backlight and position adjustment

The main advantage of the sight is the CRS (Competition Reticle System), which offers a selection of green reticles. It allows the user to choose the optimal configuration from a 2 MOA dot and circles with diameters of 8 MOA, 20 MOA, and 32 MOA, as well as any combination thereof.

The shooter has 10 brightness levels at their disposal, including 8 daytime levels and 2 night levels compatible with night vision devices. The reticle position can be adjusted within a range of +/- 30 MOA vertically and horizontally, with a click value of 1 MOA.

Lightweight aluminum housing and RMR footprint mount

The reticle body is made of durable 7075 T6 aluminum, resistant to shocks and vibrations caused by weapon recoil up to 5000G. The entire unit is sealed to IP67 standards, ensuring high protection against dust and resistance to brief immersion in water.

Thanks to its direct mounting on a standard RMR footprint mount, the red dot sight provides an exceptionally low-profile fit on the pistol’s slide. The low-mounted optical axis brings the aiming point as close as possible to the barrel axis, which facilitates aiming and reduces the time to return to the target after a shot.
