The Holosun EPS-CARRY-RD-6 is a compact pistol red dot sight that combines the advantages of a sealed design with a profile specifically engineered for subcompact and slimline firearms. It was designed with CCW and shooters requiring high reliability in mind. By isolating the emitter from external factors, the LED remains fully protected against water, dust, and debris, regardless of carrying and usage conditions.

Distortion-free image thanks to an aspherical lens

At the heart of the red dot sight’s optical system is an aspherical lens that ensures a clear and sharp image. Unlike standard lenses, the aspherical profile eliminates image distortion at the edges of the glass. This allows for intuitive two-eyed aiming.

Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings ensure high light transmission. Minimized parallax allows for free and intuitive aiming, without the need to compensate for potential image shifts.

Long battery life with the Shake Awake system

Energy efficiency is ensured by an energy-saving LED, allowing for up to 50,000 hours of operation on a single CR1620 battery. The battery compartment is designed as a slide-out tray on the side. This solution allows for instant battery replacement without having to remove the entire sight from the firearm’s receiver and re-zero it.

Operating time is further extended by the intelligent Shake Awake motion sensor. Thanks to this feature, the LED enters sleep mode during inactivity and immediately activates upon detecting motion, ensuring constant readiness for action.

6 MOA dot and 12 brightness levels

The EPS-CARRY-RD-6 model is equipped with a reticle in the form of a large, red 6 MOA dot. This reticle size is ideal for dynamic shooting, allowing for quick target acquisition at short ranges typical of CCW-class firearms.

The reticle position can be adjusted within a range of +/- 30 MOA. Excellent visibility in varying lighting conditions is ensured by 12 brightness levels, including 4 specifically designed for use with night vision. The last-mode memory function automatically restores the last-used backlight level when the device is awakened from sleep mode.

Durable housing and low sighting axis

The closed body of the red dot sight is made of lightweight yet extremely durable 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. The housing effectively protects the electronic circuitry, with shock resistance up to 5000 G and full waterproofing in accordance with IPX8.

The red dot sight features a very low optical axis, which allows for a co-witness profile on many subcompact pistols with the Optic Ready standard. The sight uses the Holosun K-series mounting standard, and the included adapter plate enhances its compatibility with popular platforms.
