The Holosun EPS-RD-6 is a pistol red dot sight that combines the advantages of a sealed design with high image clarity. It was designed for shooters who demand high reliability in all weather conditions. Thanks to the complete isolation of the emitter from external factors, the LED remains fully protected against water, dust, and dirt, even when the outer housing is heavily soiled.

Aspherical lens – distortion-free image

At the heart of the collimator’s optical system is an aspherical lens, which guarantees a clear and sharp image across the entire reticle window. Unlike standard lenses, the aspherical profile eliminates image distortion at the edges of the glass, allowing for natural, quick, and extremely precise binocular aiming.

Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings ensure optimal light transmission and high contrast. Minimized parallax allows for smooth and intuitive aiming, without the need to compensate for potential image shifts.

Maximum battery life and Shake Awake system

The device’s energy efficiency is ensured by an energy-saving LED, which allows for up to 50,000 hours of operation on a single CR1620 battery. Operating time is extended by the intelligent Shake Awake motion sensor, which automatically puts the LED to sleep during inactivity and immediately activates it upon detecting motion. This operating system ensures constant readiness for action.

The battery compartment is designed as a slide-out side tray to minimize maintenance time. This allows for instant battery replacement without having to remove the entire sight from the gun and re-zero it.

Distinctive 6 MOA dot and intuitive brightness control

The EPS-RD-6 model is equipped with a reticle in the form of a large, red 6 MOA dot. This dot size allows for instant visual target acquisition, which is extremely important in dynamic shooting and at-close-range aiming. Vertical and horizontal adjustment of the reticle is possible within a range of +/- 30 MOA, with each click corresponding to 1.5 MOA.

Visibility of the reticle in all lighting conditions is ensured by as many as 12 brightness levels, 4 of which are fully optimized for use with night vision. The red dot sight also features a mode memory function. When the device is awakened from sleep mode, the last-used backlight level is automatically restored, eliminating the need for readjustment before firing.

Durable housing, low optical axis

The red dot sight’s design is based on a sealed housing made of lightweight yet durable 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. This housing effectively protects the electronic circuitry, demonstrating resistance to shocks and vibrations of up to 5000 G and full waterproofing for submersion in water in accordance with IPX8.

The red dot sight features a very low optical axis, facilitating the use of mechanical sights. The sight uses the popular Holosun K-series mounting standard, and the included RMSc-to-K adapter plate allows for seamless installation on most pistols available on the market.
