The Holosun HS515CM is a sealed red dot sight designed for use in demanding conditions—from humid forests to sandy firing ranges. Thanks to its compact design, the sight’s weight is barely noticeable on the firearm, yet the device still offers very high mechanical durability. Minimized parallax is virtually undetectable during use, making the HS515CM an excellent choice for dynamic shooters.

Solar FailSafe and Shake Awake technology – intelligent power management

In the field, there’s no time to replace batteries. Holosun solves this problem with Solar FailSafe technology. A built-in solar panel powers the device when exposed to sunlight. In low-light conditions, the system is supported by a CR2032 battery, housed in a secure side compartment.

In situations requiring an immediate response, every second counts. The HS515CM red dot sight is equipped with the intelligent Shake Awake system, which eliminates the need to manually turn on the sight. Upon detecting inactivity, the device automatically enters sleep mode to conserve power.

The collimator wakes up immediately upon detecting the slightest movement, restoring the last-used settings. Thanks to this solution and an efficient LED, a single battery provides up to 50,000 hours of operation, which translates to years of reliable performance.

MRS System - Full Control Over the Reticle

The HS515CM red dotsight is equipped with the Multi-Reticle System. This allows the user to choose between three red reticle display modes without having to re-zero the device.

The 2 MOA dot ensures precision at long range, the 65 MOA circle facilitates instinctive aiming at close quarters, and the dot + circle combination combines these two features. 12 levels of illumination adjustment, including 4 for use with night vision, guarantee the reticle’s visibility in various lighting conditions.

Uncompromising durability—high waterproof rating and rugged materials

The HS515CM model is made of 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. This material is hard and resistant to mechanical damage, which, combined with shock resistance up to 1000 G, makes the collimator an exceptionally durable design. The sealed housing, meeting IPX8 waterproofing standards, protects the emitter from damage even when the device is fully submerged in water.

Quick-detach (QD) mounting and compatibility with magnifiers

The red dot sight comes with a Picatinny rail mount equipped with a Quick Detach lever. This allows for quick removal or attachment of the sight without tools, which is essential for frequent changes in weapon configuration. The HS515CM model features integrated lens covers and a removable honeycomb filter that eliminates light reflections that could give away the shooter’s position.

The 41 mm mounting height (Lower 1/3 Co-witness) was selected to ensure compatibility with Holosun red dot sight magnifiers, such as the HM3X or HM6X. This setup allows for effective aiming both at close range and at distances exceeding 100–200 meters.

The standard Lower 1/3 Co-witness height allows, in the case of this model, the use of mechanical sights, visible through a window in the lower part of the red dot sight mount, without the need to remove it.
