The Urban Tactical Shorts 8.5"® from Helikon-Tex is a shortened version of the Urban Tactical UTP pants, designed to optimize thermal comfort. They feature an anatomical cut, a civilian look for easy discretion in urban terrain, and a functional layout of ten pockets strategically placed for convenient access to your gear.

The front pockets have reinforced edges to protect against abrasion from knife clips. The thigh pockets are closed with Velcro and will work well for carrying a phone, for example. The side pockets have been secured with a zipper to protect the contents from falling out. The model allows you to adjust the fit at the waist thanks to a Velcro closure and wide loops, two of which are equipped with D-ring loops, allowing you to attach a belt up to 45 mm wide.
