The G&G company’s GR15 Raider is a perfect model which will surely satisfy even the most demanding shooters. The replica, which is made of metal and plastic is refined in every detail. The effectively working Pneumatic Blow Back system imitates the bolt carrier’s movements just like it works in the real firearm.

The Pneumatic Blow Back system operates on the principle of discharging a part of the compressed air from the Gearbox to a special cylinder that is located above the gearbox casing. A piston that is located in the Pneumatic Blow Back system’s cylinder moves a thin plate that is a replica of the bolt carrier. ATTENTION: the manufacturer does not recommend the use of batteries powerful than 8,4V due to the fact of the possibility of damaging the plate imitating the bolt carrier.

The elements that are made of metal are: the barrel’s heat shield, the firing mode selector lever, the gas barrel replica, the RIS rail system, the body, the trigger, the tactical sling attachment points, the cocking handle and the iron aiming sights. Steel was also used in other elements of this model, such as the magazine, the actuator and the magazine release button.

The manufacturer also took care of a comfortable profiled grip and an ergonomic SF type stock thanks to which the shooting from the heavy replica is easy and pleasant. The standard iron aiming sights – the front and rear iron sights known from the M16 model – are fully adjustable and thanks to the possibility of removing the rear iron sight we acquire a RIS rail that is almost 350mm long. The mounting of red dot sights of magnifiers will not be a problem.

The RIS rail system itself is a little bit longer than the standard one and thanks to the RIS rail system the shooter can adjust the replica to his needs even more.

The replica is equipped with an operating bolt catch/release button thanks to which we have got the possibility to block the bolt carrier’s replica in the backwards position and, by this, gain access to the Hop-Up system.

The G&G replicas that are equipped with the Pneumatic Blow-Back system have also got a modified V.2 gearbox. The modifications were made by adapting the gearbox to the Pneumatic Blow-Back system and adding an “active spring release” in the form of the actuator. You cannot use any other gearbox with the Pneumatic Blow-Back System and the active spring release.
