Gerber - Rescue Knife Crisis Hook - Coyote - 30-000590

Specialized Crisis Hook rescue knife from Gerber's Military collection. It is designed for fast and safe cutting of ropes, belts and fabrics.

The knife is made from a single piece of black oxidized 420HC stainless steel. The special design of the knife, in the form of an inwardly bent cutting hook, facilitates cutting and protects against accidental injury to the rescued person. The knife also has a specially shaped cutout, used to open the oxygen cylinder valve.

The handle is made of weather-resistant rubber in Coyote Brown color. It has a non-slip texture, and the material used makes it non-slip even in a wet hand. The base of the handle is in the form of a sharpened wedge, so it can be used as a glass striker. In turn, the hole above the nailer can be used to weave a lanyard or mount a retractor.

For ease of transporting the tool, the kit comes with a lightweight polymer sheath with a removable clip and a MALICE CLIP Short by Tactical Tailor.
