DLG-149 short carry grip cap for AK-47 and AK-74 standard rifles. Mounted in the rear part of the bolt chamber, in place of the stock or stock adapter. Its use provides a mounting point for a carrying strap in stockless configurations.

The shortened profile design reduces the length of the rear part of the rifle, which facilitates carrying it in a rifle bag and operating in confined spaces. The insert can be used in configurations where it is important to reduce the size of the rifle while maintaining control over its handling.

The element is made of polymer, which reduces weight while maintaining resistance to loads resulting from use. Installation does not require permanent interference with the rifle's design and does not require modification of the breech chamber other than disassembly of the stock.
