The DLG-099 handguard is designed for AK-47 and AK-74 carbines. It allows for the expansion of the rifle with additional accessories. The construction is made of fiberglass reinforced polymer, which allows for low weight while maintaining resistance to mechanical loads resulting from the use of the rifle.

The upper part of the handguard is equipped with a MIL-STD Picatinny rail, allowing for the mounting of rifle sights . On both sides of the body there are M-LOK slots that allow for the direct mounting of compatible accessories.

The handguard's profile has been designed with grip ergonomics and correct alignment of accessories relative to the barrel in mind. Installation takes place in place of the factory component and does not require permanent modification of the weapon's design.
