The cuts on the surface of the restrictor create a non-slip texture that supports a stable grip on the weapon. The base features a QD socket for mounting a tactical sling. The grip protector protects the hand from burns by preventing it from sliding onto the barrel and allows the weapon to be braced against the edge of the cover.
