Silva - Map Compass with a Mirror Expedition S - 37454

The Silva 37454 compass has a mirror, allowing simultaneous observation of the dial and the selected terrain point, allowing accurate azimuth determination over long distances. The rotating capsule works with the SILVA 1-2-3 navigation system, allowing navigation based on classic methods.

The body is equipped with a built-in magnetic declination correction mechanism, which allows the indication to be permanently adjusted to local magnetic conditions. The integrated clinometer allows measuring the slope of the terrain, which finds application in analyzing and assessing the difficulty of the route. The baseplate includes map scales and Romer lines to support precise coordinate transfer and work with topographic maps and GPS systems.

A magnifying glass in the base plate facilitates accurate reading of map details, and rubber feet increase the compass' stability when working on a flat surface. A graduated distance lanyard is included to measure route length directly on the map. Photoluminescent markings allow you to read the indications in limited light conditions.
