Tauron rifle scope with 50mm objective lens and adjustable magnification from 4 to 24x by Vector Optics. The rifle scope features an MPX1 etched ballistic crosshair placed on the FFP (First Focal Plane). This means that the reticle scale changes proportionally to the magnification. In addition, the Tauron has an illuminated aiming point with a six-stage illumination adjustment in a dial on the side of the scope.

If necessary, it is easy to replace the power supply in it, in the form of CR2032 batteries, by unscrewing the nut on the scope's housing. The space between the glass lenses has been filled with nitrogen gas to reduce evaporation, and the glass itself is multi-coated for better light transmission. The 30mm diameter tube allows the use of a wide range of ring-based mounts.

The device is designed for dynamic shooting at medium and long distances. At a distance of 100 m, the scope provides a field of view of 8.4 m at minimum zoom and 1.4 m at maximum. The open turret barrels allow adjustments of 21 MIL vertically and 16 MIL horizontally by 1/10 MIL per click. The adjustment knobs are easily accessible and make a distinctive click when manipulated.

The scope's housing is made of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. This translates into a compact design that can withstand shocks of up to 1,000 G, and the sealing allows it to meet IP67 standards. When the scope is not in active use, a neoprene sight cover can be used to protect it from unwanted scratches or dirt.
