Schrade - Extreme Survival Axe with Flint - SCAXE2
A lightweight and compact survival axe manufactured by Schrade. Thanks to its small size, it can be easily carried in a car, carried in a backpack or clipped to a belt. Along with the hatchet, the user receives a snap-fastened sheath made of molded composite with a belt attachment with a maximum width of 5 cm.
The head is made of 3Cr13 stainless steel coated with a titanium (TiN) layer and is embedded in a polymer handle. It has anti-slip and anti-vibration properties. In addition, it was covered with an extra layer of TPR rubber to improve grip. Inside there is a storage compartment for a flint for lighting a fire. An opening for a lanyard has been placed in the upper part.
It combines two functions, an axe and a hammer - on the opposite side of the blade the head is blunt-ended. Thanks to this, in addition to chopping, it will be perfect for driving nails, as well as smashing. Such an axe is a versatile tool that will often allow the user to comfortably spend time outdoors.
