A lightstick is a unique light source that does not
require batteries or fire. It is very light
and efficient.

The mini version is used to mark objects, silhouettes, obstacles, etc.


Chemical lights can be used to mark
positions during a night hike, illuminate the immediate
surroundings, as an alarm signal, or as an emergency
light source.

To start the glowing process, bend the stick with the thumbs
of both hands until the inner vial breaks,
then shake. This combines the
chemical substances which, using the phenomenon
of luminescence, produce light of a specific color,
depending on the dye. This phenomenon is unique because
no heat is produced during the entire process.
