The Mactronic VAYA is a headlamp designed to provide power flexibility and light output control. The design uses the Dual Source System, which allows it to run on both a USB-C rechargeable Li-Po battery and AAA batteries, allowing you to continue using it in the field without access to a power source.

The light source provides several operating configurations. The user has a focused beam for observation at a greater distance, a diffused light for close-up work, and a COMBO mode that combines both streams simultaneously. In addition, the flashlight is equipped with a red light in both steady and pulsating modes, which allows the user to maintain the adaptation of vision to darkness and performs a signaling function.

The Advanced Dimming System used allows you to smoothly adjust the brightness in each mode. This allows you to adjust the lighting to current conditions and reduce energy consumption. Operation is facilitated by a motion sensor, which makes it possible to turn the flashlight on and off without the use of buttons, which is important when working with work gloves.

The housing meets IPX8 waterproof rating, which means resistance to prolonged immersion in water. The design has also been adapted for use in harsh field conditions, with drop resistance.
