Lesovik - Hammock Tensioner SMUK - Dyneema - Grey

The SMUK hammock cord from Lesovik significantly speeds up hammock setup and facilitates overall hammock handling. The SMUK cord functions as a Ridge Line, connecting the ends of the hammock. Impregnated Dyneema line was used to produce the cord. Despite its very low weight of 15 grams, the manufacturer managed to achieve a strength of 660 daN (6600 N).

Thanks to the SMUK cord, the user will be able to prepare their resting place more efficiently, allowing them to sleep diagonally. After attaching the cord, it only needs to be adjusted once, so that the hammock will maintain its shape on subsequent setups. The cord braiding process uses methods widely used in sailing and arboriculture.

The cord has a stopper in the form of a bead in the color of the cord, which protects the cord from unraveling, and thus from possible damage. The cord is compatible with all Lesovik hammocks, and can be assembled in about 3 minutes. The cord can also be used to better organize the camping area and, using a carabiner, we can attach a flashlight or gloves to it, for example.
