The ToolMate professional tool retractable tether from Key-Bak will allow you to secure and organize your equipment during various tasks. With it, you can attach additional carabiners for even better organization or another compatible tool. Inside the polymer housing is a spool with a braided dacron line with high pulling force.
The stated pulling force will allow you to retrieve dropped smaller items; for larger and heavier tools, the line will prevent you from losing them. Both snap hooks have an automatic twist lock with a knurled surface for better handling. The polyester webbing is thickly stitched, which translates into durability.
The retractor is extremely durable due to the use of high-strength components that are consistent with each other. However, it cannot be used as a piece of climbing equipment. The device meets the requirements of ANSI/ISE 121-2018 certification, which sets the standard for the gear needed in a tool work environment.
