Holosun - Closed Collimator ARO EVO - Solar Panel - Red Dot 2 MOA - Black - ARO-EVO-RD2

An ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic) series closed collimator using a 2 MOA dot for aiming from Holosun. It allows fast target acquistion, even in adverse weather conditions. This is made possible thanks to a housing that meets IPX8 sealing class standards. Included with the sight, the user receives a low and 1/3 Co-Witness mount. This makes the device suitable for both rifles and smoothbore weapons.

The sight is equipped with a system of advanced lenses, covered with a multi-layer coating that reduces flare. This solution made it possible to achieve high light transmission, while maintaining a clear visible image without parallax effect. The brightness of the aiming point can be adjusted in 12 levels, 8 for daylight mode and 4 for night vision.

The aiming reticle position can be adjusted vertically and horizontally within +/- 50 MOA, by 1/2 MOA per click. The electronic LED control system uses a dual power source in the form of a CR2032 battery and a Solar Failsafe solar panel. The Shake Awake system used puts the unit to sleep after a certain amount of time at idle, which helps further extend battery life.

The sight's housing is made of a milled single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum, which can withstand shocks of up to 1,000 G. Brightness adjustment is done via buttons on the side of the housing. To replace the battery, simply unscrew the tray without removing the sight from the rail, which will preserve the adjustments made earlier.
