Aluminum snap caps imitating .308 Win caliber ammunition. They allow for dry-fire training while protecting against firing pin strikes on an empty chamber. The caps have dimensions compatible with live ammunition. The all-aluminum construction has been anodized in a contrasting red color.

Instead of a primer, a silicone disc is used on which the released firing pin can impact. Closer to the firing pin's impact point, there is a transverse hole through which paracord, rope, or even a lanyard can be threaded. Thus, the snap caps can have not only a practical function but also an aesthetic one as a key ring or a neck pendant.
