TopMax RedPower DELRIN CNC Piston Head Red

The CNC-machined RedPower DELRIN piston head by TopMax, designed and manufactured in Italy. The lightweight, reliable, and durable construction is suitable for all types of configurations.

The front of the piston head is designed to reduce stress resulting from impact even at higher rates of fire (ROF). The RedPower piston head does not have a double O-ring for sealing/stabilizing but features a small recess that reduces the contact surface with the cylinder interior to minimize friction. The insert for attaching the head to the piston is slightly shorter to allow compatibility with any piston available on the market. Additionally, the piston head has eight axial and radial ventilation holes. The size and placement of the radial holes are different to achieve greater stability, consistency, and accuracy of shots.

During the compression phase, the RedPower piston head uses the Venturi principle, generating more uniform sealing in any configuration. It is suitable for low ROF to high ROF setups, but it is recommended for use in configurations higher than 25 rounds per second (ROF) to take advantage of early compression resulting from the hole placement.

Stress tests on the piston head were conducted using higher-power springs, ensuring reliability and efficiency even in more advanced configurations. For maximum performance, we recommend pairing the RedPower piston head with a TopMax piston and cylinder head.
