The inner parts of the gearbox which are exposed for great overloads and friction require a regular greasing. This prevents the parts from a fast use and improves the gearboxes operation culture. The greases differ in consistency and composition.  It is recommended to use a dense grease for the cylinder and piston because of the fact that the grease remains on the internal parts for a longer period of time.
