Gerber - Folding Knife Scout - 440A - PVD - Micarta - Brown - 1064583
Scout folding knife with a Pivot Lock based on the Axis Lock from Gerber. Its rounded shape makes it easy to include the Scout in your gear for everyday work. In addition, the only protrusion under the folded blade is a small glass breaker in the knife's footplate. The same treatment was given to the tool's operating mechanisms. The hole in the head and the locking mechanism were used precisely to minimize the profile of the knife.
The Drop Point profile blade is made of 440A stainless steel topped with a matte PVD coating. On the other hand, the profiled handle is made of micarta in which grooves have been milled to create texturing. Closer to the foot is a hole for pulling a paracord or cord. The back of the handle has a series of undercuts on which you can support your thumb or index finger.
A metal clip allows you to securely attach the knife to your belt or pants pocket. The clip can be flipped to the other side if the user so desires. A hole in the head will allow the user to extend the blade with one finger. While a Pivot Lock with a sliding crossbar is responsible for holding the blade in place.
