It allows easy mounting of a wide range of tactical lighting from manufacturers such as SureFire, Streamlight, Modlite, Olight, Arisaka, Cloud Defensive and many more. Made of lightweight and durable aluminum, so it does not significantly affect the weight of the weapon.
