The Sphere face shield, designed as a protective mask with a flip-up visor, from Bolle. Its distinctive feature is a 180° field of view. This allows the user to gently turn their head without risking exposure of the face. The visor’s design means that additional eyewear, such as photochromic glasses, can be worn without issue.

The transparent visor is made of 2 mm thick polycarbonate, which protects against impacts from debris, solid objects, arc flashes, chemicals, and liquid splashes. The visor can be easily attached and removed using rotating locking clips. The headband is made of polypropylene, and both the distance between the visor and the face and the head circumference can be adjusted vertically and horizontally.
