The RX insert is made of clear polymer and is designed for use with Chronosoft goggles. The adapter mounts directly onto the goggle frame using plugs integrated into the adapter. The use of lightweight polymer ensures that the adapter does not significantly affect the total weight of the ballistic goggles.

The use of the insert allows for the stable mounting of corrective lenses directly behind the ballistic visor. This solution eliminates the need to wear two pairs of glasses and allows for customization to the user’s individual needs, while maintaining the ballistic standards of the main visor. A single pair of glasses - and thus a single pair of temples - allows for comfortable wear with hearing protection.
