The BaoFeng programming cable connects the computer's USB-A port to the two-pin accessory connector on the two-way radio. The use of a standard Kenwood plug allows for compatibility with a wide range of models, including the UV-5R, UV-82, and BF-888S series, as well as select devices from TYT and Radioddity. Inside the device is an FTDI/CH340/PL2303 communication chip, which ensures stable data transmission between the radio and the operating system.

The cable works with CPS and CHIRP software, allowing you to edit channel lists, set privacy codes, adjust squelch levels, and configure the radio’s system functions. The product is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
